Images from RvBTO

Recently I got back from a trip to Toronto for the Red vs Blue annual event. It was a fantastic time with friends I only get to see every few months if I'm lucky. It took me a few weeks but I finally processed all the pictures and uploaded them to my Images section! Go take a look!

More Musiter And Massive Slugs...
6.25.11
I've not had as much time to record for Musiter recently, but with the summer comes a lot more dead time. After all most gigs are during the school year and the summer brings time off but a lack of funds. But recently I played some geeky music in the lobby of the theater I work at, and hopefully I'll have more up. I just need to find a cowboy hat.
Besides working and finding random things to play I've discovered something new about Seattle...there are GIGANTIC SLUGS EVERYWHERE!!!
Yes that's my hand next to the most recent of the hundreds of gigantic slugs that have descended on the pavement of the city and subburbs I've grown to love. Notice the size. The huge, massive, amazing SIZE of the thing! They are not just everywhere but are LARGE and everywhere.
Today there were literally dozens of these things all over the sidewalk and road. As if on a death march, or the slowest moving army ever. None of the local animals will touch them none the less eat them. So despite what must be a buffet of food for the right bird of prey (and sure it'll require a LARGE bird of prey) not a single slug was lifted for lunch.
I'm sure those who have lived here longer then me won't be surprised by these things at all. But I fear every step. I dread the bottom of my shoes. I tremble just wondering what I would find outside my door. The invasion has begun, and it is slimy.

Wonderful D&D Gifts...
5.2.11
Today a box arrived from one of my favorite people in the world. It was full of belated but brilliant birthday gifts, all D&D related!!
Do not be fooled by the tiny gift...the big box was full of small wonders. This specific present was a light up D20 from Think Geek that flashes in joy when you roll a 20!
But that wasn't the only dice! I also got a lovely set of Elven dice in an amazing dice bag (which I desperately needed as I was using a plastic bag for my stuff!).
And then fuzzy D20 dice! That Casey has the brilliant idea to hang from our light above the table for the game!
And then a few days ago I finally got the stone dice I'd ordered! They're blue jasper, and very cool, but smaller then normal sized dice. In fact they are minis, so I'm still on the hunt for normal sized stone D20s I can pound the goblins with. But they are SO CUTE next to Klayed!
So I got to use a plethora of dice in our first game hosted here in our apartment. The shop where we normally play close down, so Casey and I are hosting our weekly D&D game that started MONTHS ago. We didn't quite have the space we normally have to play in, but I think it was comfy and cozy and worked out pretty well.
So THANK YOU LINNEA!! All the D&D stuff is wonderful and I put it to use right away!!!
